Well ladies it's good to be back, don't get me wrong Bali was nice but I missed all the action back home !

Well as most of you are now aware, whilst on holiday I got engaged only to have lost my ring three hours later, spent half the night on the decking by the pool trying to find it - which I finally did the following morning  ! Thanks to all for your congratulations , cards etc. Can't wait for the wedding - obviously I will ensure that the day is programmed in not to coincide with any matches - that way we can have a really good p*@s up without worrying about the match on Sunday - not that most of you do anyway  - only joking ! 

So what has been happening whilst I've been away .... well the winning streak continued as the ladies clocked up a 4 - 2 win over Chelmsford City Reserves{10th October} - god never mind my dad having heart -attack on the side line I was having having one by the pool eagerly awaiting news from back home !! Poor Stuart was under strict instructions not to talk to me for 90 minutes whilst I sat staring at my phone waiting for all the news from the game !  Still even with a few minor hiccoughs that day the fighting sprit came through to ensure another three points in the bag.

No sooner had the plane touched down did the messages start flowing about the post-ponement of the White Notley game {17th October} - bit gutted really seeing as I scheduled my return so that I did not miss this important fixture !

So Sunday 24th October saw us travel to Harlow Town & after a slightly shaky start the goals started flowing. Lauren {Fizz}  bagged her first hat-trick along with goals from Vicci Pritchard{ 5}  and Julie McLauchlan {1} and again proved that Bower's are going places this season !

With the ladies sitting in second place {with two games in hand over the leaders} we all knew what was needed Sunday when we made the long journey to Colchester for a top of the table clash ! Bower's stamped their authority on the match from the word go and their efforts were rewarded after 7 mins with a goal from Vicci Pritchard, who also went on to score the second goal, with the third coming from Laura Allen - for the full match report  click here !

So where does that leave us now ?? Well the results don't lie and after our first six games, each one resulting in us obtaining the full three points we must now look to continue our fabulous start to the season and focus on staying at the top ! COME ON BOWERS  - LETS WIN WIN WIN !

League tables have been updated {couldn't resist} along with all the recent results and over the next day or so I will be updating the Dream team results - so be sure to keep checking !

With only six weeks left until Christmas I am currently organising the Christmas do {obviously a Friday ! } - any suggestions welcome ! Please let me know dates that would be good for you.
